Long-Term vs. Short-Term Storage
There are two types of storage: Permanent Storage and Storage In Transit (SIT). If you need storage for over 30 days, then permanent storage will likely be more efficient, and the cost is calculated on a monthly basis. If you need short-term storage (under 30 days) as part of an interstate move, then you will be happy to note that INTERSTATE CONTRACTED MOVERS offers *30 DAY FREE STORAGE on all shipments that ship by weight!
The cost for Permanent Storage is based on the number of storage vaults or the total cubic feet that your shipment occupies in the warehouse. Payment for this type of storage is due monthly.
WE DO STORAGE RIGHT!!!
* Shipments shipped by dedicated truck are not eligible for 30 free storage offer.

STORAGE DONE RIGHT
INTERSTATE CONTRACTED MOVERS can handle your storage needs anywhere in the United States. We can select the best warehouse locations because we are not restricted to any one van line system. After being wrapped for transit, furniture, along with boxes are loaded into large wooden storage vaults and labeled for each different household by a unique lot number. These lot numbers help us electronically track your shipment. The storage volts are densely stacked to prevent damage and to keep all items free from dust and dirt. These storage vaults are then sealed shut, locked, and stacked inside a state of the art climate controlled warehouse. Although storing this way is very safe and secure, accessing your goods can be difficult. Therefore, be sure to let the movers know which items are to be stored, and which need be delivered to your temporary residence. The gated facilities are secured with 24 hours surveillance cameras, security patrols at night, and are climate controlled.
